The curry tree (Murraya koenigii) is a tropical to subtropical tree in the family Rutaceae (the rue family, which includes rue, citrus, and satinwood), which is native to India and Sri Lanka. Its leaves are used in many dishes in India, Sri Lanka, and neighboring countries.
Curry leaves are aromatic in nature. The leaves are shiny and smooth with paler undersides. Leaves are pinnate, exstipulate. Curry leaves have always been sought after for their unique flavour and usefulness in cooking, but there are also a number of health benefits that make them highly appealing.

Homemade curry leaves hair oil for hair growth and grey hair
Ingredients
One cup of curry leaves
10 numbers of chopped amla or gooseberry
500ml of coconut oil
Method
Take a cup of curry leaves, chopped amla into blender and grind like corse paste.
Add this paste to a thick bottomed pan on medium heat and add half litre of coconut oil.
Cook the paste until all the moisture is gone.It will take around 20-25 minutes.
Your mixture must have turned greenish brown in colour.Turn off the heat.
Let the oil cool down and strain into a jar.

Homemade curry leaves powder
Ingredients
500g of fresh curry leaves
Method
Wash the fresh curry leaves in a tap water for 2 times.
Dried in sunlight for 4-5 days.
Now transfer dried curry leaves into a blender and grind it a fine powder.
Sieve the powder to remove any hard particles.
Store it in an airtight container.
